Shift: 2nd Shift: 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM Compensation: The pay for this position is $23.00 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Highlights: This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Work in a hospital, infirmary, long-term care unit, or domiciliary care setting Hands-on patient care experience in a structured clinical environment Opportunity to build long-term healthcare career experience Responsibilities: Provide non-professional nursing care and daily support to patients/residents Assist with direct care, rehabilitation, and daily living activities for ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients/residents Help maintain patient/resident quarters in a clean and safe condition Assist patients/residents with prescribed rehabilitative and recreational activities (individual and group participation) Follow established nursing care procedures under direction of registered nurses and/or physicians Perform routine duties independently while adhering to facility rules and regulations Support patient comfort, safety, and overall well-being Participate in ongoing on-the-job, in-service, and formal training programs Requirements: Six (6) months of experience as an Aide Trainee; OR One (1) year of paid experience caring for geriatric or physically ill patients/residents High School Diploma or equivalent required Must be registered and certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Health (for Long-Term Care Unit assignments) Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Products Ability to follow instructions from licensed nursing staff and physicians Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills If you are interested in this position, please apply directly to this job posting or email resume and job title to Jenise Nottage at [email protected] . .
