Location: Onsite at location listed in the posting Summary The Pro CRE Loan Specialist position is a specialized position responsible for reviewing and understanding the Commercial Real Estate Loan approval/request, providing thorough, objective analysis of the Loan closing, construction documentation and funding requirements in the RE loan documents, and all supporting documentation required for closing, and confirming that the loan documents provide that the loan is being closed as required by the approval. The closing process may include an objective analysis of the construction documentation and knowledge of the construction/draw process. This position is expected to lead the RE loan closing, construction monitoring and review process, including funding requests, invoices, AIA requests from the General Contractor, completion requirements as required by the loan documents and other supporting documents and final completion documents. This position ensures collateral remains perfected, legal documentation supports credit approval, and all risk controls have been met in order to proceed with closing and ultimately funding the construction as requested by the Borrower. Loan products include construction loans, term loans, revolving lines of credit and other commercial debt. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Review Loan Approval for all deal terms and requirements and confirm that all terms, requirements, and Borrower information is consistent with term sheet, commitment letter (if applicable), and Loan Closing Documents. Verify customized Loan Closing Documents are complete and accurate according to policies and procedures, and provide comments regarding the documents to bank counsel and the Line of Business as needed. Work with bank counsel and Line of Business to review the attorney prepared Loan Closing Checklist and the documents received. Request and review bids from 3 rd . party Construction Consultant(s) when required. Review and approve required project construction documents, and forward to 3 rd . party consultant as required by policy and/or procedures. Interface with Lenders, Borrowers, Attorneys, Title Companies, General Contractors, Consultants, and Agents to ensure proper documentation is received for Loan Closings and Draw Requests. Verify Payment Instructions provided by Title Company, Agent and/or Borrower. Maintain and update project Budget(s) as approved at closing, track changes and ensure funds are sufficient to complete the project. Approve loan Budget changes within established limits or refer loan to RM or Credit Officer for further approval/override as provided by Policy. Review and approve Draw Requests and supporting documents as submitted by Borrower and provide documentation to Loan Operations to disburse loan funds within the established SLA. Manage the disbursement and payment process to and from bank participants, junior lenders and agents. Provide Primary support and partnership to Relationship Managers (RM) and Portfolio Managers (PM) to ensure construction maintains strong quality, while facilitating risk control measures for the Bank. Works closely with senior management, RMs, PMs, Credit Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit partners to ensure that the credit remains in compliance with Bank and regulatory policies. Provide documentation to Loan Operations to book, maintain and update the loan tracking system with Borrower and Loan information. Manage loan document exceptions. Monitor requirements as provided by executed leases and permanent lenders. Maintain a working regulatory knowledge regarding, Flood Insurance, General Insurance, Title Issues, Mechanics Lien Law, Survey's and Bank Loan Documentation. JOB SUMMARY The purpose of this classification is to provide entry-level instrumentation technician work involving learning the principles and procedures of industrial instrumentation and control systems. The trainee will assist Instrumentation Technicians in all phases of their assigned work.
