Ensure compliance with local codes, standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE), and client requirements. Lead QA/QC efforts for the electrical installations, including participation pre-functional testing and systems start up. Maintain documentation for inspections, testing and commissioning. Assist in the commissioning and turnover of systems. Collaborate with Mechanical, Plumbing, CSA, and other Electrical Construction Managers to ensure integration of civil, architectural, structural, and MEP systems. Qualifications We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess: Professional Experience and Education Minimum 5 years of Electrical Construction Management experience in commercial building construction required, with at least 3 years in hyperscale or mission-critical data center environments. Proven experience managing large-scale electrical installations, preferably in hyper-scaled data centers. Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure and systems including high voltage, medium voltage, and low voltage distribution, UPS, generators, grounding and BMS integration. Knowledge of Uptime Institute or other data center standards. Deep understanding of construction means and methods, trade sequencing, and commissioning processes and integrated systems testing. OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training preferred. High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor of science in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, structural engineering, construction management or equivalent degree and/or equivalent craft level work experience. PMP or similar project management certification preferred. Incumbent is responsible for the creation of jigs and fixtures required to fabricate the weldments along with the quality inspection of welds to assure quality. Incumbent must have a high attention to detail. Responsibilities: Incumbent is responsible for performing all position wire welding of mild metals along with some stainless steel and aluminum applications, where alignments, dimensions and weld quality must meet high standards. Will work from diagrams, drawings and job layouts, and be capable of selecting welding procedures to obtain maximum strength and alignment for the weldments. Incumbent is responsible for determining the correct weld sequence and all set-ups required for the project. As required, must be able to build and use jigs, fixtures, and tooling to assure quality. Additionally, incumbent shall inspect their work for weld quality and dimensional integrity. Furthermore, will perform machine maintenance when required on weld shop equipment and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Also responsible for receipt and inventory control of steel and other metal raw materials stock, and for cutting and trimming of stock as required by the drawings or work orders. Incumbent is also responsible for such other duties as management may assign to the position from time to time. Knowledge: Requires minimum high school education plus 2 to 3 years related welding experience. Pursuit and/or attainment of advanced welding certifications or associate degree in fabrication/welding a plus, but not required. Must be able to read blue prints, interpret welding symbols, and understand various operating, maintenance, and procedure manuals for the equipment you are using. This position requires a thorough grasp of all welding techniques, material characteristics and structural fundamentals. Must be familiar with & safely operate portable power tool and machine tools such as drill press, band saw, cut-off saw and hand grinders to name a few. Previous experience with using a forklift and overhead crane is required. Work Context: Incumbent works alone with minimal supervision in an environment involving extreme heat, dust, and loud noise.
