Responsibilities: Emanuel Catheterization Laboratory service lines are comprehensive and include interventional cardiology, vascular, adult, and pediatric interventional radiology, adult and pediatric interventional neuroradiology, adult and pediatric electrophysiology, structural heart, and pediatric and congenital interventional cardiology. Emanuel and Randall Children's Hospitals are level one trauma centers with cardiac surgery and Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) capability and the regional burn center is housed at Emanuel Hospital. Provides care to all service lines and patient populations at Emanuel and Randall Children's Hospitals in the Emanuel Catheterization Laboratory. Performs primary and secondary roles (scrub assistant and monitor) during procedures in the Emanuel Catheterization Laboratory in accordance with physician orders. Acts as super user in the scrub assistant and monitor roles. (CV Tech III) Precept scrub and monitor orientees (cardiovascular technologists, angiography technologists, electrophysiology technologists, nurses). (CV Tech III) Qualifications: Experience : CV Tech I: One-year previous experience in the field of Invasive Cardiovascular procedures in a Cardiac Catheterization/Angiography Lab is preferred. The ideal candidate will be comfortable on job sites ranging up to two hours away, flexible to work rotating on-call shifts, and confident tackling complex residential plumbing systems.
