The virtual nurse will assist with tasks such completing the admission, care plan development and maintenance, patient education, medication and discharge teaching, care coordination, mentoring of new nurses, and implementation of evidence-based care. The virtual eICU nurse assists the primary bedside nurse with nursing tasks not required to be done in person as well as real-time quality and patient safety surveillance. The eICU Virtual nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients. Description :The Phlebotomy Support Technician is responsible for the collection and processing of blood and other specimens as directed. Performs proper specimen collection by confirming patient ID, collecting specimens in proper tubes, utilizing venipuncture/capillary techniques, and accurately labeling the specimens to ensure accurate patient results. Processes specimens appropriately for subsequent testing. Accessions, updates information and makes corrections to orders as needed.
