Headache & Facial Pain Disorders Nationally Recognized in Neurosciences Physician Opportunities Hackensack University Medical Center Hackensack, New Jersey The Comprehensive Headache Center in the Department of Neurology at Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC), a major academic medical center within the Hackensack Meridian Health system, is recruiting a full‑time neurologist who has completed an accredited Headache Medicine fellowship & is BE/BC by ABPN & UCNS. The successful candidate will teach medical students, neurology residents, and other residents, provide clinical care, and conduct sponsored and investigator‑initiated research supported by research coordinators. The Center’s interprofessional team offers state‑of‑the‑art treatment for all headache & facial pain syndromes, including infusion therapy, rehabilitation, and dietary support. Faculty rank at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine will be commensurate with experience. Qualifications Excellent clinical skills Fellowship trained in Headache Medicine Board Eligible/Certified in Neurology & Headache Medicine Ability to obtain professional licensure, DEA and CDS licenses in New Jersey Track record of teaching medical students and residents Track record of scholarship Eligibility for a faculty appointment at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine; faculty rank commensurate with experience & publication record Neurosciences at HUMC Approximately 100 team members, including specialties in Epilepsy, MS, Stroke, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuro‑Oncology, Movement Disorders, Neuro‑Ophthalmology, Neuro‑Genetics, Neuro‑Critical Care, TBI/Concussion & ALS. Compensation Minimum base salary is $258,056. The posted rate of pay is a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act. The base compensation may differ at the time of offer and is determined by factors such as specialization, labor market data, experience, leadership, education and certifications, productivity, skills, geographic location, internal equity, and grant funding.
