Job Description This South Georgia community hospital, a JCAHO accredited facility, is seeking a board certified/board eligible Otolaryngologist to join a thriving ENT practice whose current physician is retiring soon. This physician will receive a competitive salary based on national salary guidelines with, full employee benefits. Practice highlights include: Typical work week : 4 days in clinic and one day in the OR, but expect this to change as the surgical volume grows. Average patient volume per day: 15-20 Surgical cases per day/week: about 14-20 per month. Services provided: Basic general ENT surgeries Call Coverage : Call back in very rare. The call requirement for the contract would be 10 days/month. How much competition is in the local area? FOR ENT services, none, there is an allergy/immunology practice that uses the MOB shared satellite office 1 day/week. Physician compensation is based on skills offered, new vs. existing physician, but based on fair market value and commercially reasonable methodology. We usually offer 18 months guarantee.
