Job Description Our Opportunity OhioHealth is hiring a full-time licensed Psychologist to join the Medical Weight Management team at McConnell Heart Health Center in Columbus, Ohio. Responsible for performing psychological evaluation/testing for preoperative metabolic and bariatric surgery patients, including a formal written evaluation. Provide psychological support to postoperative metabolic and bariatric surgery patients, including individual counselling and support groups. Other duties include medical weight management psychoeducation groups and multi-disciplinary team consultations. Weekday schedule and no evenings Qualifications include a PhD in Psychology or Counseling. A license to practice psychology in the state of Ohio. Strong knowledge of clinical counseling issues, psychological assessment skills, and an understanding of psychiatric needs and psychotropic intervention.
