KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Development Estimating · Collaborate with internal and external sources to determine interconnection requirements and estimate interconnection costs for both BTM and FTM solar and BESS projects. · Coordinate with Development and Engineering teams to create preliminary design budgets for solar, BESS, and hybrid Development projects. EPC Estimating · Prepare competitive, accurate, and timely cost estimates and schedules for DG scale (0.5 MW–50 MW) C&I rooftop, carport, ground-mount solar, BESS, hybrid solar-plus-storage, and EV charging projects in the Preconstruction phase. · Review specifications, scope of work, drawings, RFP documents, and equipment/vendor requirements to develop a thorough understanding of solar and BESS project requirements and potential risks. · Read and interpret solar and BESS construction drawings and perform accurate, timely project takeoffs. · Manage the full subcontractor and vendor process, including NDA coordination for solar, BESS, and related electrical scopes. · Collaborate with Engineering to propose value-engineering solutions aligned with current solar, BESS, and electrical industry costs. · Work with the Accounting team to estimate accurate internal company costs. · Perform detailed subcontractor and vendor descopes to ensure normalized bids. · Provide subcontractor recommendations on how to mitigate and price risks associated with a project. · Deliver complete RFP responses in a timely manner, including proposals, pricing breakdowns, and preliminary schedules. · Maintain records and database for costs, subcontractors, vendors, and other data. Pre-Construction · Create contract and construction schedules in collaboration with Project Management, Construction, and Engineering teams. · Assist in EPC contract negotiations. · Manage the pre-qualification process of subcontractors and vendors. · Assist in the selection, negotiation, and contract execution with subcontractors. · Coordinate with racking vendors to ensure timely completion of pull testing and with BESS equipment vendors to support timely budgetary pricing, scope alignment, and technical clarifications. · Set up and manage the submittal process for all subcontractor scopes using Procore. · Set up and co-lead Preconstruction Page Turn meetings. Familiarity with E-Gordian/SCA Estimating platform is preferred Responsibilities: Responsible for reviewing construction estimates with supporting documentation including contractor price proposals and supporting documentation of drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates, vendor/subcontractor quotes, market analysis, and other related documents to determine if the proposed construction cost has been developed regarding supporting documentation, project location, schedule, and local labor conditions. Job Description Job Description We are looking for a dependable Service Electrician (Mechanic) to join our team. The work location will be throughout the 5 boroughs of NYC. Driving company work van(s) to and from work location(s) will be required. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential properties and commercial businesses. You will be required to install or repair a wide range of equipment, including utility service equipment, circuit breaker panels, circuit breakers, switches, outlets, light fixtures, fans, wires, conduit and cables. As well as troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical issues. Duties and Responsibilities • Installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing electrical wiring, lighting, and other components of the electrical system in homes or commercial buildings, including switches, outlets and light fixtures. • Installing electrical wiring and equipment in homes or businesses for power and lighting circuits. • Installing and replacing main services including service switches, meter sockets, end boxes and circuit breaker panels. • Installing electrical systems in remodeling and new construction projects, including temporary lighting and power, rough-in and trim-out. • Pulling and terminating cables. • Installing conduit and pulling wires. • Working with GC’s and others trades to plan electrical layouts for remodeling and new construction projects. • Ensure that work is in compliance with NYC Electrical Code, National Electrical Codes (NEC) and Utility Requirements. • Inspecting electrical systems to ensure they are safe and meet electrical codes and regulations. • Use a variety of tools and equipment to complete projects, including hand and power tools such as drills, screwdrivers, linemen’s pliers etc. • Installing low-voltage (LV) systems as required. e.g. LV lighting, doorbell/intercom wiring, boiler wiring etc. • Installing home automation systems, such as those that control lighting, climate control, security systems, and entertainment systems. • Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to determine the best course of action. • Test electrical systems and components to identify issues. • Troubleshoot electrical problems and make necessary repairs. • Assist other electricians as needed. • Assign duties and responsibilities to Electrician Helpers. • Adhere to all safety standards and procedures. • Maintain a clean and organized work area. • Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with clients. Required Requirements and Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent. • 6 years experience. • 5 years experience and completion of an electrical trade school. • Must be able to complete installations on your own, if required. • Valid driver’s license required. No exceptions. Driving company work van(s) to and from work location(s) will be required. • Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NYC Electrical Code required. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. • Strong problem-solving skills. • Excellent customer service skills. • A practical examination will be part of the interview process. Successful completion of the practical examination required before hire. Electrical knowledge: Need to have a strong understanding of electrical systems and how they work. Job Description Job Description Assists the General Manager in running the store during all shifts. Helps with training, ordering or scheduling when needed. Must be able to memorize quickly, work in a fast paced environment, and work as a team to lead their teams to success. We have great hours of operation so no early mornings or late nights and we close on many major holidays. Also have insurance options for those that are full time (30 hours) and vacation and PTO available for full time managers that are 35 hours. Looking for part time or full time availability. Experience in management is preferred but willing to train candidates without experience if they have passion and drive. Must be reliable, responsible, and able to take constructive feedback if/when necessary. We have multiple types of management positions starting with a team lead (cannot open or close $15) and going all the way up through the ranks to an assistant general manager ($20 per hour based on experience).
