What you’ll be doing Lead engagement marketing at Varo with the goal of driving up early-lifecycle conversion and lifetime value of a customer Be the thought leader on how to win the customer from when they land on the website or download the app through to a primary banking relationship Relentlessly drive conversion rate optimization across all customer touch points through disciplined and analytically rigorous testingWork hands on with team members to set up, implement and execute initiatives, including triggered campaigns, A/B tests and deployment of high quality responsive assets Own customer engagement metrics, such as funding, borrowing and direct deposit rates, working with other functions to “get the job done” whatever it takes Bring analytical rigor and discipline to all aspects of our engagement measurement, reporting and decision making Provide thought partnership with the right level of synthesis and communication to C-suite leadership Mentor and guide junior team members and serve as a role model for leadership through fact-based decision making and bias for action You’ll bring the following required skills and experiences 10 years of professional experience with track record of impact in customer lifecycle management and conversion rate optimization Experience at growth-stage pre-IPO tech-enabled consumer businessesa plus Fintech or banking experience a plus Proficiency in data analysis using languages such as SQL or Python Experience using platforms such as Tableau for dashboards and reports Experience with CRM platforms such as Braze, to be self-sufficient and guide others Undergraduate degree required, masters degree preferred We recognize not everyone will have all of these requirements. Per applicable law, the salary range for this role is $225,000 - $295,000. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors as well as candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the identified range. This role is also eligible for a bonus, equity, and competitive benefits. Proven track record of landing and expanding large enterprise accounts (Fortune 1000 experience a plus). Collaborating with channel and technology alliance partners within your territory to identify, develop, and advance customer opportunities. Deep understanding of the enterprise sales cycle, including stakeholder management, procurement, and contract negotiation. Strong executive presence and ability to influence technical and non-technical buyers alike. Motivated self-starter with a bias for action, curiosity, and integrity.
